Eric Weld, founder and principal of Weld Communications, applies more than 20 years of experience as a communications professional on clients’ behalf. As a longtime freelance editorial writer, news reporter and public relations manager, he applies his knowledge of multiple aspects of the communication process to inform his service.

Following his graduation from the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!), he traveled the world, living in Asia, Europe and South America, documenting his observations in articles for the Boston Globe, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Pif Magazine, Real World Adventure, and other publications. As a public relations writer, editor and consultant for Smith College in Northampton, Mass., for 15 years, Weld sculpted his expertise and knowledge of effective communications.

A proud father of Elliot and Olivia, Eric Weld is also a jazz musician, a voiceover artist, runner, novelist and lover of outdoors and travel.
